Best Cleaners Partners with the Lupus Foundation of MN
to Support the Annual Lupus Walk for Hope
For the fifth year, Best Cleaners is working with the Lupus Foundation
of MN to bring attention to the chronic autoimmune disease, lupus. Because of their personal connection with lupus by both
family members and employees; this local family owned business wants to help raise community awareness of the disease and
help the Foundation raise funds for lupus research at the University of Minnesota.
This year’s Walk in Minneapolis will be held Saturday, September 12
at the Minnehaha Falls Pavilion, and Rochester’s Walk is set for Saturday, September 19
at Silver Lake Park. The theme for this year’s Walk is once again "It’s all about Research!"
Last year we were able to present the University of Minnesota Lupus Research Center with a check in the amount of $60,000
from our net proceeds to help their efforts to find a cause and cure for this disease. It was a much-appreciated gift,
and we hope to beat that amount this year. With your help, it can be done!
To reiterate, remember the dates - Saturday, September 12 in Minneapolis
and Saturday, September 19 in Rochester. Remember that teams are encouraged
and always welcome to either attend or send in a donation under your name. This is a day for friends and family to gather
in a beautiful setting to have fun and help a great cause. Most important, remember that "It’s all about Research!"
and that we’re trying to help quash the lupus disease once and for all.
